Sound Technology ships JBL landscape speakers in the UK

The compact, weather-resistant speakers provide high-level fidelity and aimable coverage for a wide range of outdoor applications.

Sound Technology is now shipping the new Harman JBL GSF3 and GSF6 Garden Ground Stake landscape speakers, and the GSB8 and GSB12 Garden In-Ground subwoofers, in the UK.The compact, weather-resistant GSF speakers provide high-level fidelity and aimable coverage for a wide range of outdoor applications. The GSF3 is a full-range two-way coax with a 3" low frequency and a tweeter. The higher-output, two-way, wide-bandwidth coax GSF6 features a 6" low frequency and a tweeter.

The speakers can be set up via a stake that is pressed into the ground, or secured to a horizontal or vertical surface via an L-bracket.

Both models, which have received a red-dot award for design excellence, are available in two colours.The JBL GSB8 and GSB12 Garden In-Ground 8″ and 12″ landscape subwoofers augment the low-frequency performance of the JBL GSF landscape speakers to provide full-range sound for outdoor use in hospitality, theme park, corporate and retail spaces.

The GSB8 and GSB12 focus on fidelity, with true subwoofer extension down to 35 Hz and a steep, multiple-slope low-pass filter for superior sound. The premium-grade, 100W subwoofer-band transformer allow them to be used in 70V/100V systems, or they can be connected for low-impedance direct operation.The low-profile speakers install underground, with only the audio port visible. The chamber is oriented directly below the audio port to prevent accidental damage from landscaping. Grab handles allow easy installation and tabs secure the subwoofer to blocks or anchors.

The new JBL GSF Series and JBL GSB Series complement the existing JBL Control 80 Series "mushroom-style" landscape speakers (including the recently introduced Control 89MS Above Ground Subwoofer), providing a comprehensive portfolio for outdoor applications.
