Brownsburg Electronik (BEI) manufactures a variety of magnetic products such as transformers and inductors for electric railway and subway transport systems.

We have designed a range of standard transformers and inductors for the railway industry, with manufacturers using our parts in projects worldwide. Our experienced engineering team can create customised parts for any railway application.

BEI can provide a range of low or high-frequency transformers, including EI, PCB mount and toroidal types with a power rating of up to 150kVA.

They are available in open, potted or enclosed casings and have a standard ambient operating temperature from -40ºC to 50ºC. Lower or higher temperature ranges are available on request, in addition to thermal protection.

We have a range of standard inductors readily available. We also offer custom-designed products with a current of up to 500A as standard, as well as high currents and designs with multiple cores available on request.

The extended ambient operating temperature ranges from -40ºC to 50ºC with lower or higher ambient temperature and thermal protection available on request.

BEI ensures that all our railway magnetic components pass a series of tests before they are dispatched in accordance with our high-quality practices.

Products are manufactured using advanced production and testing equipment, including computer-assisted design and simulation software. All our transformers and inductors are supplied with a minimum five-year warranty.

We can deliver products to meet the required quantity or quality requirements for standards, specialised or individually tailored magnetic railway components. The high quality of our products relies on a quality advanced system and continual improvement.
